Uhm Jung-hwa shows Maui breakfast after morning stretch
Newsis reported that Uhm Jung-hwa prepared celery-kale juice, an omelet and sourdough bread in a Maui travel video.

Newsis reported that singer and actor Uhm Jung-hwa, 56, posted a Maui, Hawaii travel video on her YouTube channel Umaizing Uhm Jung-hwa TV on the 26th of last month. In the video, Uhm stretched in front of the beach in the morning and then prepared a meal.
According to Newsis, the ingredients she prepared were celery, kale, onion, tomato and four eggs. She trimmed the celery and kale, finely chopped the onion and tomato and sauteed them in a pan, while beating the eggs in a bowl and seasoning them with salt.
Newsis said the fresh fruit juice was made by blending coconut water with apple, celery, kale and lemon juice. Uhm served the juice with an omelet containing onion and tomato and sourdough bread, according to the report.
The report also cited the health YouTube channel Jung Woo-joo's Fascia Health, which has more than one hundred ninety thousand subscribers, on a morning stretching routine. The channel said, 'When the lower back and shoulders feel stiff in the morning, or when fatigue remains after waking up, a 15-minute routine that can be started immediately from where a person is lying down without special exercise equipment can help restore a refreshed morning.'
According to Newsis, the movements recommended by the channel included neck and shoulder rotations, a cat pose that rounds and extends the back, stretches for the backs of the thighs and calves, and a Cobra pose performed by lifting the upper body while lying face down. The channel introduced Cobra pose as a movement that can help open the front of the chest and abdomen and straighten an upper body that has become hunched.
Newsis said the channel advised that Cobra pose bends the lower back backward, so people with a herniated disc or severe lower back pain should not overdo it. The report said the safer method is to lower the shoulders away from the ears and hold the pose briefly within a range that does not cause lower back pain, rather than forcing the body upward with the arms.
On the egg omelet meal, Newsis also mentioned an explanation from Harvard Health Publishing, a health publication affiliated with Harvard Medical School. According to the publication, 1 egg contains about 6g of protein, vitamins A, B and D, choline, lutein and zeaxanthin, while egg protein is a high-quality protein containing all 9 essential amino acids. It also advised that adding bacon, sausage, butter or cheese can raise calories by increasing saturated fat and sodium intake, while using vegetables or olive oil can help make a healthier meal.
