TUIDE to preview debut album stages before debut

TUIDE, the first girl group from ABD under HYBE Music Group, will reveal performances of all songs on its debut album before its formal debut, ABD said on July 21.

ABD said the seven-member group, consisting of Seohee, Seoyeon, Elena, Jia, Saki, Sea and Lee Ha-nee, will hold 'TUIDE EXCLUSIVE PREVIEW [PLAYGROUND]' on August 1 and 2 at Layer Studio 11 in Mapo-gu, Seoul. The group is scheduled to perform every song from its debut album for fans at the event.

The group is proceeding before its formal debut date, detailed member profiles and visuals have been disclosed. ABD said the preview is intended to present the team first through its music and stage performances.

ABD said security at the venue will be strengthened because the new songs will be heard for the first time there. Photography, video recording, audio recording and livestreaming will be strictly restricted, while experience-based spaces and programs will be prepared so attendees can encounter the team’s concept and identity from several angles.

An ABD official said the event is meant to give attendees an early chance to discover TUIDE and experience anticipation around the team. The official also asked for interest in the first step of the seven members, saying they will create a new wave in the music industry.

Applications for the preview event are being handled through TUIDE’s official community on the global fandom platform Weverse. ABD said people who complete advance applications by July 26 will be selected by lottery for a chance to attend on site.

TUIDE is a seven-member group launched by ABD, a label under HYBE Music Group. ABD said the team name was drawn from 'Tune the tide' and carries the idea of leading and coordinating varied currents in the world to create new enjoyment.
