Young K's 'YOUNGEST' live album sampler draws praise for genre range
Viewers reacting to the EP.01 UNDER live album sampler for Young K's second full album praised his songwriting, vocals and versatility across four tracks.

JYP's official channel posted the first live album sampler, "EP.01 UNDER," for Young K's second full album "YOUNGEST," previewing four tracks: "Marionette," "Drivin' into hell," "100 Reasons We'd Break Up" (우리가 헤어질 100가지 이유) and "Baby's Breath" (안개꽃). The most-liked comments zeroed in on his songwriting and delivery. "Not exaggerating, I've loved it from track one and it's making my head hurt," one viewer wrote, while another said of the third track, "I don't know the reasons we'd break up, but I know it's a masterpiece." Several commenters said they simply couldn't picture how much further he could go, with the top comment reading, "I can't even imagine how much better Young K can get."
Other reactions centered on his range across genres and his double duty as writer and vocalist. "All four are different genres and he does all of them well," one comment read, and another added, "The fact that he can take on and produce every genre like this… I really respect you." Fans of the group, who identify as MyDay (마이데이), framed the vocals as a highlight, with one singling out "100 Reasons We'd Break Up" and calling the vocal "so chewy it's crazy." A recurring, meme-like line was the sentiment that there was no way not to like him — "I don't know how to not like Young K," one viewer wrote. A few also flagged smaller details, including a moment at 0:21 where his expression shifts mid-lyric, and questioned the unusual order in which the teasers and samplers were being released.
