sEODo BAND to release first full album One on August 14

sEODo BAND said on the 14th that it will release its first full-length album, One, on August 14. It is the band’s first studio album since vocalist sEODo began solo activities in 2019 and the act moved into a band format in 2020.

The first studio album One brings together the musical world of Joseon-pop, a genre sEODo BAND has developed. The album is set to present the band’s approach to reinterpreting the narratives and melodies of traditional music, including pansori, through pop forms.

Two days after the album release, sEODo BAND will hold a solo concert titled One at Yonsei University(연세대학교) Centennial Memorial Hall Concert Hall on August 16. The performance is described as carrying the meaning of the cycle of life and sound.

sEODo BAND won the final round of JTBC’s Pungryu Captain: War of Hip-Hop Singers in 2021 and became the first Pungryu Captain. The band later appeared on broadcasts and stages including KBS2’s Immortal Songs.

The first studio album One will be released through music streaming sites on August 14. Ticket reservations for the solo concert One open exclusively through Ticketlink from 5 p.m. on the 14th.
