According to Newsis Entertainment, KBS 2TV's cooking entertainment program Stars' Top Recipe at Fun-Staurant, airing at 8:30 p.m. on July 2, includes a visit by trot singers Kim Yong-bin and Choo Hyuk-jin to Icheon in Gyeonggi Province. The report said the two head to a butcher shop run by Choo Hyuk-jin's aunt.
Newsis Entertainment said Choo Hyuk-jin's mother and aunts had previously given Kim Yong-bin several cuts of meat as gifts. The report said Kim visits the butcher shop in person to express his thanks.
The report said Kim Yong-bin shows himself cooking on the broadcast and also reveals another side. Newsis Entertainment said that although he is known for a delicate, soft high voice, he also shows a forceful side that day.
Kim Yong-bin and Choo Hyuk-jin also try working as one-day sales staff at the butcher shop, according to the report. Newsis Entertainment said customers first came in one or two at a time, but within 1 hour the shop grew crowded with customers.
According to Newsis Entertainment, the two continued selling meat while providing fan service. The report said they achieved about 230 ten-thousand won worth of sales in just 1 hour.
The production team said, 'Please look forward to the meats that Choo Hyuk-jin's mother and aunts will bring out for the two, who worked up a sweat as one-day sales staff.'
