Channel A's Heart Signal 5 episode on July 7 showed Signal House residents checking one another's feelings through a 'change date' before the final choice. The broadcast followed Kang Yu-kyung as her conversations with Park Woo-yeol, Kim Seong-min and Jung Jun-hyun changed the relationship lines around her.
Before the change date, the episode showed Kang clearing up a misunderstanding with Park and growing closer to him again. Park told her, 'I missed you. I am sorry,' and the broadcast showed the two continuing a more comfortable conversation before later sitting side by side in the living room and speaking in whispers.
The episode also showed Kim Seong-min making his feelings for Kang clear again. During an LP bar date, Kim said, 'You were the person I had romantic interest in,' and suggested an additional weekday date, but Kang later said at the women's lodging, 'Right now, I want to avoid it.'
Kang then called Kim aside and declined the date, saying, 'There is not much time left now, so I want to think about myself the most.' In the later change date segment, Kang and Jung chose each other, and Kang told him, 'You are the person who broke my prejudice, and I end up telling you a lot about myself.'
At a music-listening space in Paju, the broadcast showed Kang and Jung continuing their conversation. Kang said, 'I liked that you seemed to care about me a lot, including when you suggested we watch a musical. Can I expect more from you?' Jung replied, 'You can expect more,' and smiled.
The dinner segment then showed the two talking about their families and laughing through the meal. With the final choice approaching, the episode placed Kang's connection with Jung alongside her relationship with Park, and Channel A said the next story of the residents ahead of the final choice will be revealed on July 14.
Park Woo-yeol told Kang Yu-kyung, 'I missed you. I am sorry.'

Kang Yu-kyung asked Jung Jun-hyun, 'Can I expect more from you?'
Jung Jun-hyun replied, 'You can expect more.'
