ENA's Monday-Tuesday romance drama Dream to You, starring Hwang In-youp and Lee Hye-ri, began in the 2% ratings range. Nielsen Korea said on July 14 that the first episode, broadcast the previous day, recorded 2.7% nationwide.

The episode showed film director Woo Soo-bin, played by Hwang In-youp, returning after achieving his dream and meeting Joo Yi-jae, played by Lee Hye-ri, again after 15 years. Yi-jae was shown as a reporter focused on making a living after losing sight of her dream.

Soo-bin could not hide his delight when he saw Yi-jae, who had given him the dream of becoming a film director during their school years. Yi-jae, feeling diminished, lied and said, 'I have a husband and child.'

Even after Yi-jae responded coldly, Soo-bin brought out the screenplay they had worked on together in school and proposed making a film together. Yi-jae spilled coffee on the script and said angrily, 'Woo Soo-bin, you are my regret. You should go back to that day too. See how I would feel.'

The broadcast also showed the first meeting between bit-part actor Shim Yoo-geon, played by Baek Sung-chul, and top star Oh Ha-na, played by Lee Yul-eum. Shim went to Oh's set for a delivery part-time job and filled in as a model whose shoulder alone would appear; after learning he wanted to act, Oh handed him a photo showing his face that had not been used in the pictorial.

Dream to You is a 12-episode series about what follows the reunion of Woo Soo-bin and Joo Yi-jae. Jung Eun-bi, who took part in writing Mr. Sunshine and Guardian: The Lonely and Great God, wrote the script, while Yoo Sun-dong, who made Trigger and The Uncanny Counter seasons 1 and 2, directed it.
