Musician SØHJ, a former drummer for 3rd Line Butterfly and a longtime member of the artist collective Byul.org, will release the remix single 'Nine Twenty(Byul.org Remix)' on music platforms at 12 p.m. on July 14.

The single reinterprets the ninth track from SØHJ's first solo full-length album, 'Ø: Between,' which was released on June 21. The album is an electronic pop record built with clear synth sounds and layered beat design around moments encountered between states such as emptiness and fullness, anxiety and stability.

SØHJ handled the lyrics, composition and production for the album. Through the title track 'I'm sort of' and the recommended track 'Scofield,' she presented the sense of rhythm she had developed over a long period in a form of electronic music, drawing attention from critics.

The newly released remix is based on the original song described as the album's most personal track and one with clear emotional contrast. DJ Joan Pencil(Cho TaeSang) of Byul.org, who has worked with SØHJ for a long time, took part in the remix, adding a rhythm reconstruction and a layered sense of space.

The remix keeps the original song's mood as it expands from a quiet opening resembling rain sounds into a strong beat, while adding a different breath to the track. SØHJ's representatives said, 'It will further broaden the emotional spectrum held by the first full-length album and become an opportunity to expand her musical world.'
