The comedian appeared on KBS 2TV's 'Malja Show' and said her checkup results were normal, including glycated hemoglobin levels.

Comedian Shin Gi-ru, who is known as weighing more than 100㎏, addressed rumors about her health and misconceptions about her image as a big eater during an appearance on KBS 2TV's talk entertainment program 'Malja Show' on the 13th.
Shin said on the program, 'Because of my obese body type, people misunderstand me a lot, but in fact, I worry about my health so much that I go to the emergency room even when I feel only a little sick.'
During the broadcast, Shin showed health-checkup results indicating that all tests were normal, including her glycated hemoglobin level. She said, 'At the hospital, my blood pressure came out normal, and the doctor could not believe it, so there was a time they measured it again 12 times,' adding that, contrary to concerns around her, she is in very good condition.
Shin also spoke about her image as someone who eats large amounts, saying, 'Compared with my actual body size, I am not someone who eats a lot.' Kim Young-hee, a fellow OBS 1st class comedian, also appeared on the episode and shared stories from their early days and friendship.
