Director Jang Hang-jun introduced the point of differentiation for Time Tracker Sherlock at an online production presentation on the morning of July 14. The new historical entertainment program is from SBS Plus, Kstar, ComedyTV, theLIFE and GTV, and the event was attended by Jang, actor Bong Tae-gyu, broadcaster Shin A-young and historian Sun Kim.

The program starts from small clues in history and traces stories hidden behind historical records. It looks into accounts from unofficial history and presents familiar history through another perspective.

Jang addressed the difference between official history and unofficial history as he discussed what to watch for in the program. He said, 'Official history is often called the record of the victors, but I think unofficial history is history seen through the emotions and perspective of the people.'

He continued, 'Unlike records arranged from the viewpoint of those in power, unofficial history is closer to the emotions and lives of the people who lived at the time.' Jang said this may be why unofficial history also feels closer to people living now.

Jang also described how season 2, Time Tracker Sherlock, changes from the 2024 season 1 program, Seolok: Four Perspectives. He said, 'This time, we dig deeply into one story,' and added that looking at one story from four perspectives and examining it more deeply required a high level of concentration. Time Tracker Sherlock is scheduled to premiere at 10:30 p.m. on July 14 on SBS Plus.
