A special Studio Ghibli exhibition opened at Jeju Donghwa Village Art Center on July 11, 2026, where invited guests joined a ribbon-cutting ceremony and posed for commemorative photos.
Participants shown at the ceremony were Consul-General Ikeda of the Consulate-General of Japan in Jeju, Jeju Donghwa Village Chairman Kang Dong-hwa, Studio Ghibli producer Toshio Suzuki, Daewon Media Chairman Jung Wook, Daewon Media representative Jung Dong-hoon, Daewon Broadcasting Vice Chairman Kwak Young-bin and Daekyo representative Kang Ho-jun.
Daewon Media hosted the exhibition. It was arranged around Jeju Donghwa Village as Korea's largest experiential Ghibli exhibition installation.
