Broadcaster Hwang Kwang-hee shared stories from his trainee period in a video posted on the YouTube channel 'Reformed Seo In-young' on July 15.

Seo In-young, who was once under the same agency as Hwang, met the former Children of Empire member and discussed their time at Star Empire. When Hwang appeared, Seo said, 'I think you look more handsome now than before. That is why you did not become more prominent during your group activities.' Hwang replied, 'I should have had this face back then. At that time, I looked like an older man.'

The two later visited the Star Empire building and looked back on the past. Seo said the agency first began in an underground practice room and moved into the building after Jung Ah earned money. Seo added that she then put the money she earned into the building's pillars.

Hwang said the agency building had been completed after Seo had already done well. He added, 'If the building had 9 pillars, Jung Ah and Seo In-young each built 4.5 of them. Children of Empire promoted with that money, and I had all my plastic surgery done with it.' Seo agreed, saying Hwang often asked, 'How is my nose? How is my forehead?'

Recalling his trainee years, Hwang said, 'I had been at Star Empire since 2005. I was a trainee for a long 6 years.' He said that, despite that period, he lacked skill, and the company head told him to take 2 years off and return.

Hwang said the company head told him to get plastic surgery if he wanted to debut and said he would not let him debut until then. Hwang added that the company head treated Seo and him well and liked personalities like theirs.
