KiiiKiii sets August 10 comeback

KiiiKiii has confirmed a comeback on August 10 and started its comeback countdown. KiiiKiii, made up of Jiyu, Leesol, Sui, Haum and Kiya, announced a dedicated website update through official SNS channels on the 19th and posted teaser content for the new album 'WhyKiiiKiii'.

The official account shared the website link with messages that directed visitors to look for the answer to why KiiiKiii and referred to 6 summers curated by guides. Visuals showed the members as travel guides, with themes linked to retro-style beauty and mobile phone ads, illustration, teen films and magazines in a Y2K mood.

A 'WhyKiiiKiii' tour map showing 6 destinations was also released with the teaser content. K-pop fans have raised guesses about whether the points on the map indicate the tracklist for the new release.

The website includes an event where fans can apply for a tour. After entering a name, departure point and date, and selecting a ticket type, users receive a virtual airline ticket that lists 'WhyKiiiKiii' as the destination.

KiiiKiii has used its own dedicated website for marketing since its debut, and the current comeback uses a package-tour format. The new album 'WhyKiiiKiii', set for release on August 10, is framed as an album that answers the question of why KiiiKiii in the group's own way.
