KBS said Hallan, a film about Jeju 4·3, was screened at the 25th New York Asian Film Festival, which opened on July 12, 2026.
At the festival site, the Jeju 4·3 International Special Exhibition was also held. The exhibition presented the history of Jeju 4·3, including its background and the course of events.
My Name, another Jeju 4·3 film invited to this year’s New York Asian Film Festival along with Hallan, is scheduled to meet festival audiences on July 16, 2026.
The broadcast page also listed the 12th Korea Calligraphy Association(한국서도협회) Jeju branch exhibition among adjacent items.
