Koo Chang Mo to release new album after 37 years
Koo Chang Mo's agency said the Songolmae vocalist will release a special album on online music platforms at 12 p.m. on July 14, 2026.

Koo Chang Mo, the vocalist of the band Songolmae who was also known as a solo singer, is returning after a long break.
His agency said Koo's special album will be released on online music platforms at 12 p.m. on July 14, 2026. It is his first official new album in 37 years since his 5th full-length album in 1989.
The album contains 14 tracks, including Koo's earlier hit songs and new songs. The title track was described as a sequel-like song to a representative Songolmae-era track written by Koo.
The agency said the title track is also a new song written and composed by Koo. It said the song adds a modern polish to the nostalgia of the original.
The agency said the album includes Koo's musical path so far and his new attempts as a singer.
