Sokcho opens Expo Lawn Plaza stage to residents
KBS said Sokcho City is opening its Expo Lawn Plaza outdoor performance facility to residents after limiting it to city-run events.
KBS reported in 2026 that Sokcho City is opening the outdoor performance facility at Expo Lawn Plaza to ordinary residents after using it only for city-hosted events.
According to the report, 4 performance teams from the Sokcho area that completed advance applications are scheduled to present 4 performances from the 18th through September.
KBS said the performances are set to include accordion and saxophone acts among the programs presented by the local teams.
The report said Sokcho City had earlier completed work to improve the performance environment at the Expo Lawn Plaza outdoor stage, including installing rain-cover facilities and repairing drainage facilities.
