Seo In-guk's character wins over viewers as the female lead divides them
Comments on a tvN drama clip praised Seo In-guk's Kang Si-woo as a "unicorn" while many questioned the female lead's behavior toward her ex and the apology storyline.

A post-broadcast clip from the tvN drama (내일도 출근!) drew attention to a scene in which the character played by Park Ji-hyun confronts an ex-boyfriend who speaks carelessly about Seo In-guk's character, Kang Si-woo. The most-liked comments centered on the female lead, Ji-yoon, with several viewers questioning her behavior. "She didn't start this without knowing — she herself was in a long-term relationship and lived together, and she keeps meeting her ex for whatever reason, then only whines about how hard it is for her," one viewer wrote, calling the situation and her reactions "tiring." Another commenter said the writing had made the character too prickly: "They drew the female lead's personality far too abrasively; a partner like that in real life would be exhausting."
The apology storyline also left some confused. "An unforgivable apology? I don't even know whether Si-woo did anything wrong that he needs to apologize for, or whether Ji-yoon has any right to forgive," one viewer commented (잉? 용서할수 없는 사과를 한다고?). A few others pointed to what they saw as contradictions in the female lead, noting that she "said she didn't care, yet held him back from even going to America," and that if she was going to grumble over old photos, not telling him about meeting her ex was the bigger problem.
By contrast, Seo In-guk's character drew consistent praise, and one line became a running note in the comments. Several viewers called Kang Si-woo a "unicorn," with one adding "poor thing," while another wrote, "Seo In-guk brings the Kang Si-woo character to life so well." The split was clear in the thread: much of the criticism landed on how the female lead was written, while the reactions to Seo In-guk's performance and his character stayed largely positive.
