Picheolin's 'There's no painless goodbye' MV draws vocal praise in comments
Viewers responding to the official MV for Picheolin's "아프지 않은 이별은 없다 (narr. 이문세)" focused on the vocals, the autumn-leaning mood and the producer-artist alter ego.

HYBE released the official music video for "아프지 않은 이별은 없다 (narr. 이문세)" by Picheolin (피철인), the alter ego of SEVENTEEN's Dino, and the comment section centered quickly on the vocal performance. "This is so much of my style.... no autotune just pure honey voice," one viewer commented, while another wrote in Korean, "Whoa... what are these vocals?" (헐.. 와 보컬 뭐임). A separate comment singled out the ad-libs: "Woahhh the VOCALSS!!!!! Where is my mind cauz it was blown hard somewhere by these insane adlibs goshh Picheolin!!!"
Several commenters described the track's mood in seasonal terms. "Seventeen is 14 now🤭 The song n the vocals reminds me of the fall season don't know why.... It's the perfect vibe for long drives especially in autumn n spring season," one viewer wrote, referencing the group's member count. Another comment identified the sound as city pop, writing "City pop, huh" (시티팝이라). Others kept it simpler, with one writing in Korean, "This song is so good" (노래 너무 좋다), and another saying they had already set it as their ringtone.
The reaction ran overwhelmingly positive rather than split, with much of it directed at the Picheolin persona itself and at Dino's range. "THE BEST PRODUCER! THE BEST ARTIST! THE BEST ALTER EGO TO EVER EXIST!! PI CHEOLIN, YOU'RE THE ACE!!!" one commenter wrote. Another expressed something closer to resignation at his versatility: "Why is Dino good at even this kind of thing, I'm surprised every single time." Multiple comments called out to him by his various names — "Picheolin!!!!! Uri.... maknae!!!!! Dino!!! Dinosaur!!! Lee chan!!" — and several tallied international viewers, with one asking, "How many international fans are here for Dino."
