MONSTA X released two episodes of a Gyeongju school trip spinoff from its self-produced reality content. The Korea Tourism Organization took part in production support for the content as part of a campaign for overseas K-pop fandom visits to Korea and regional tourism.

In the videos, the members wear school uniforms and visit Gyeongju travel locations under a high school concept. They complete a mission to make Gyeongju four-cut photos by taking group pictures at major locations in the city, with an added rule that a hidden mafia member tries to interrupt their progress.

The members play games at a shooting range, and in the first Gyeongju four-cut mission they match poses based on explanations from Shownu as the quiz giver. The members then continue to suspect one another of being the mafia. In a hanbok draw, Kihyun, who came last in rock-paper-scissors, wears a bright hanbok, while other members walk through Gyeongju in traditional costumes including king, warrior and yangban outfits.

During the trip, Minhyuk's identity is shown to viewers first. In a prior interview, Minhyuk receives a secret order and takes on the role of disrupting the missions while concealing his identity. After arriving at their lodging, the members continue playing several games in the style of their own content.

The members also share personal updates during a break. Joohoney talks about opening a YouTube channel, and Kihyun introduces a new album, while the members continue trying to identify the mafia. The video ends with the question of whether Minhyuk can keep his identity hidden until the end.

MONSTA X is currently meeting fans around the world through 2026 MONSTA X WORLD TOUR [THE X : NEXUS]. The Gyeongju school trip spinoff has 3 episodes in total, and the final episode is scheduled to be released on July 3 at 8:30 p.m.
