BTS releases Korean version of Normal
BigHit Music said BTS released the Korean version of Normal from its 5th studio album ARIRANG at 1 p.m. on July 17.

BTS released the Korean version of Normal, a track from its 5th studio album ARIRANG, BigHit Music said. The agency said the song was made available on music platforms at 1 p.m. on July 17.
The release consists of 3 versions: Explicit, Clean and Instrumental. BTS first performed the Korean version of Normal at the Busan concert of its ARIRANG world tour in June.
The music video for the original English version of Normal was also released on Spotify on July 17. It will be available on YouTube and other platforms from July 19.
The Normal music video presents BTS in candid moments behind the stage. The members sing while being hit by streams of water and lie down with injured faces, portraying tired and disheveled daily scenes.
Traces of an intense party appear throughout the video and contrast with the vulnerable state the members face the next morning. The plain and candid images offer quiet comfort to people who feel anxiety and fatigue in daily life.
Normal is an alternative pop song about emptiness and fear behind the spotlight. The track entered Billboard's main singles chart, the Hot 100, at No. 41 and remained on the chart for 3 consecutive weeks.
Producer Ryan Tedder took part in the song, and the track features soft singing rap that unfolds like speech. BTS is scheduled to appear during halftime at the 2026 North and Central America World Cup final at New York New Jersey Stadium on July 19 local time, with Madonna, Shakira, Justin Bieber, Robbie Williams, Laura Pausini and Nicole Scherzinger also listed for the stage.
