Yang Sang-guk said chicken testicles were the dish he remembered most during a press conference for TV CHOSUN's What Did the King Eat? in Guro District, Seoul, on the afternoon of July 14.

Yang said the dish was less greasy than he had expected and credited the chef's cooking. He said, 'I ate it very deliciously. It tasted like a high-end soup.'

Shin Gi-ru named po-gye as the food that remained most in her memory. Shin said, 'Food these days is definitely tasty. Among the dishes I tried, po-gye is the one I remember. Today, foods are seasoned a lot, but old dishes have a subtle taste, so they are easier to keep reaching for and linger longer in the mouth.'

Ji Ye-eun also chose po-gye, linking the dish to King Sejong's reported preference for meat. She said she had heard that King Sejong liked meat so much that he did not eat meals without it, adding that she also likes meat.

Choi Tae-sung referred to tangpyeongchae as a dish that contains politics, history and taste. Choi, Yang, Shin and Ji attended the press event.
