Fans travel by bus to see Jeong Dong-won at Marine Corps event

Singer Jeong Dong-won, who is serving in the Marine Corps, appeared in new photos shared from a public event.

MC Lee Kang-hyun posted photos on his social media on the 12th that showed him with Jeong at the Gunsan, Janghang and Iri District victory event. In the images, Jeong wore a military uniform, smiled and made a V sign with his hand.

Lee wrote that he was 'so happy to appear at the same event as my great junior, Marine Jeong Dong-won' and added, 'I hope he completes his training to the end and is discharged safely.'

Lee also said the temperature on the day of the event approached 34 degrees. He thanked fans who came from around the country from before dawn the previous day during a heat wave advisory, saying there were 'about 40 fan club buses alone.'

Jeong entered the Marine Corps Education and Training Group on February 23. He is currently serving as a private first class in the Artillery Brigade of the Marine Corps 2nd Division, and his scheduled discharge date is August 22, 2027.
