Jo Hyun Ah says royalties covered 2 years without work

According to Newsis, singer Jo Hyun Ah spoke about copyright royalties during a YouTube appearance on the 8th. In the video, Heo Kyung-hwan told Jo that, among people in the entertainment industry, the people he envied most were those with many songs of their own who receive royalties.

Heo said he would not ask about the amount and asked how it felt when the money came in. Jo said, 'During the coronavirus period, I could not work for 2 years. For those 2 years, it did not matter that I was not working.'

Jo said that when she was spending time with friends and received a text message saying copyright royalties had been deposited, she would say, 'Eat more. Eat as much as you want today.' Heo responded that he was envious and said comedians do not have that.
