Koyote cancels KT Wiz performance after Shin Ji controversy
The agency said Koyote will not perform at the KT Wiz home game event scheduled for August 2 after objections from some KT fans.

Koyote has canceled a planned celebratory performance at a KT Wiz home game after controversy over member Shin Ji and a proposed ceremonial first pitch.
The agency said in a statement on the 14th that it had accepted concerns from KT Wiz fans and agreed with the club not to proceed with the celebratory performance event scheduled for August 2. Koyote had originally been scheduled to perform after the game.
During event coordination, Shin Ji also received an additional offer to throw the first pitch, but controversy arose after she declined it. The agency explained that Shin Ji, an ardent Hanwha Eagles fan, decided that taking the mound for the opposing team would not be courteous to fans of both teams, so she declined only the first-pitch offer.
Some KT fans objected after a behind-the-scenes video was uploaded to Shin Ji's YouTube channel without enough context being conveyed. In the video, Shin Ji mentioned Hanwha, the opposing team, while expressing regret, and the remarks were pointed out as lacking consideration for the inviting club.
The video was deleted after the controversy. The agency said, 'We caused misunderstanding and discomfort during the YouTube content upload process,' and said it would take more careful attention in future communication with the public and fans.
We humbly accept the concerns of KT Wiz fans and have agreed with the club not to proceed with the celebratory performance event scheduled for August 2.
