Choi Kang-hee asks stalker not to follow her
The actor said on social media that attempts to talk without consent, waiting and following can amount to stalking.

Actor Choi Kang-hee said on July 15 on social media that she had experienced stalking. Choi said she was leaving an explanation because the post was public, and said she had checked a letter the previous day saying that if she did not leave a post, the writer would take it as consent and follow her car.
Choi said she also learned the person was someone who had spoken to her several days earlier. She said, 'I will not reveal your name. Please do not follow me. No response is also refusal.'
Choi asked the person to understand that attempts to talk without consent, waiting and following are stalking. She added that even conduct without malicious intent can create psychological fear.
Addressing fans, Choi said she could no longer receive letters or gifts sent to broadcasting stations. She asked that they be delivered through her agency or fan club, and said recent repeated incidents, which she described as far from ordinary, had led her to have nightmares that were hard to distinguish from reality.
Choi debuted in 1995 in the KBS drama 'New Generation Report: Adults Don't Know.' After working in dramas and variety shows, she stopped acting for 3 years following the 2021 drama 'Hello, Me!' and returned in 2024 with appearances on variety programs. She is scheduled to make her first theater appearance in more than 30 years since her debut through the play 'Closer' in September.
I hope you know that attempts to talk without consent, waiting and following are stalking.
