4 NewJeans members mark 4th anniversary in special film

4 NewJeans members marked the group's 4th anniversary with a special film released on NewJeans' official YouTube channel on July 22. The content brings together Minji, Hanni, Haerin and Hyein about 2 years after the group's Japanese debut single 'Supernatural', which was released in the summer of 2024.

The film is set on a cool summer night under moonlight. The video shows the members gathering one by one, starting with Minji, smiling, holding hands and looking in the same direction.

4 individual films for Minji, Hanni, Haerin and Hyein were also released. The clips show everyday scenes and include references to Bunnies, the official NewJeans fandom.

Minji drives a pickup truck and handles a flier folded into a rabbit shape after finding it at a gas station. Hanni hums in sunlight while working on a MIDI screen with a rabbit drawing, while Haerin leaves home with a handmade rabbit bag and sees rabbit-shaped MIDI art appear on the playback screen when she puts in earphones. Hyein, on her way to roller-skate, orders rabbit-shaped ice cream in front of an ice cream shop called 'The Bunnies Scoop'.

NewJeans debuted in the music scene on July 22, 2022. The group has appeared on major charts in Korea and abroad, including the U.S. Billboard Hot 100, Billboard 200 and the U.K. Official Charts.

ADOR said the special film and follow-up content were prepared to celebrate the 4th anniversary with fans. The agency said, 'The members brought together their wish to celebrate debut day with fans who have waited for a long time,' adding, 'We hope Bunnies enjoy it with happiness at seeing it.'

After the video was released, some fan comments said, 'It feels like they have grown compared with before, so I feel moved,' 'Their natural charm and distinct atmosphere are still there,' and 'Seeing familiar faces makes my heart beat again.' The comments also expressed interest in NewJeans' comeback and future activities.
