Newsis reported that indie pop singer-songwriter ZIN CHOI, also known as Choi Seo-jin, released the double single TGIFS on July 7.
According to Newsis, TGIFS has two tracks, sick of fun and alike, with a theme of summer day and night.
The outlet said sick of fun is a cool-toned electro-pop track that expresses boredom and longing. Newsis reported that alike uses an upbeat Miami bass beat and portrays intense love at dawn.
Newsis said ZIN CHOI handles lyrics, composition and visual directing. Since debuting in October 2024, she has released coco, a collaboration single with cosmetic brand easea, and the single UFO this year, according to the outlet.
According to Newsis, ZIN CHOI took part in C25 Mixtape by NME and Bose and was selected as the youngest solo artist in Apple Music Best of 2025: Korea. The outlet said she currently hosts the HYBE podcast STAN:A and operates the independent label 22 and party brand THAT PARTY.
