Former MBC announcer and broadcaster Son Jung-eun has founded a comprehensive entertainment company and is beginning a new stage as a business operator, Newsis reported.

Son said on social media on July 7 that she had established Soul Bridge ENT. Explaining the company name, she said it was created from a wish to become 'a bridge connecting soul to soul.'

Son also said the company would connect various fields beginning with content, make good ideas a reality and deliver hope and courage, according to Newsis. The report said she revealed a business card design listing her as the company representative and CVO, or chief vision officer.

According to the report, Son joined MBC as a publicly recruited announcer in 2006 and hosted programs including MBC Newsdesk and PD Note. Newsis said she appeared in the play Misery, left MBC in 2021 and has worked as a freelancer since then.
