Park Tae-hee to perform in Germany on August 1
The Miryang-born model singer said the Essen appearance will be her second Germany performance after a Berlin invitation in December 2024.

Park Tae-hee, a singer from Miryang in South Gyeongsang Province described in the announcement as South Korea's first model singer, said on July 8 that she will travel to Germany for a performance at the invitation of the Yeongnam Association in Germany.
The announcement said Park is scheduled to attend the association's 'Yeongnam Day' event at 3 p.m. on August 1 at the Korean Cultural Center in Essen, Germany. She is scheduled to perform representative songs including 'Miryang Farmhand' and 'Barae-gil,' according to the announcement.
The announcement said the Germany trip will be Park's second performance in the country, following an invitation performance hosted by the Korean Association in Berlin in December 2024.
Park said, 'The warm welcome and emotion I received on the Berlin stage at the end of last year are still vivid, and I am overwhelmed to be able to meet Koreans in Germany again.' She added, 'With pride as South Korea's first model singer, I will present a more complete and dignified stage.'
Park also said, 'From now on, if an invitation comes not only from Germany but anywhere in the world, I will gladly go.' The announcement described Park's performances as combining a model's elegant presentation with a trot singer's approachable and powerful stage manner, and said she was appointed as a Miryang City promotional ambassador in June this year.
