Mukbang YouTuber apologizes over in-flight meal video
Yuno removed a first-class flight mukbang video and apologized after criticism over repeated in-flight meal and snack orders.

Yuno, a mukbang YouTuber with seven hundred eighty thousand subscribers, deleted a video and apologized after controversy over footage in which he ordered in-flight meals around 20 times while on a plane.
In a YouTube community post on the 15th, Yuno wrote, 'I am very, very sorry that the in-flight meal video I uploaded today caused discomfort to many people.' He said he had been focused on trying to create new content and had judged too easily that it would be acceptable if flight attendants agreed after he asked them while boarding.
Yuno said he asked a flight attendant before filming whether it was possible and tried to shoot mainly during times when other passengers were having meals or snacks. He said he had not sufficiently considered that repeatedly requesting so many in-flight meals could burden the crew and make other passengers using the same space feel uncomfortable.
Addressing the flight attendant in charge, Yuno said he was grateful that the attendant remained smiling and kind until he got off the plane despite repeated difficult requests. He said he was more sorry because he felt he had relied too much on that kindness and wanted to apologize sincerely.
Yuno had posted a first-class flight mukbang video. In the video, he ordered and ate in-flight meals and snacks around 20 times, including eight bowls of ramyeon, salad, pre-meal bread, fruit, sandwiches, cheese and tiramisu.
At the end of the video, Yuno thanked the flight attendants who cooked for him. Online criticism described the video as 'nuisance content' that required excessive work from crew in a narrow cabin environment and disturbed nearby passengers' rest; Yuno then deleted the video and posted an apology.
When criticism continued, Yuno posted an additional apology, saying, 'It should have been moderate to some degree, but when I watch this video again, I think it was too much.' He said he was excited because it was his first time in such a good seat and had rationalized his behavior at the time by thinking, 'Would one more time be all right?'
Responding to some claims that he had kept calling flight attendants throughout the flight to film, Yuno said, 'It is true that I requested a large amount of food, but filming took place during meal times and after I woke up in the middle of the approximately 15-hour flight, across three occasions, for about two hours and ten minutes.' He added that regardless of filming time, he was taking seriously that asking for multiple dishes showed insufficient consideration for crew and other passengers and could have felt burdensome or uncomfortable.
