Son Dong-woon joins 10th-anniversary 'Gone Tomorrow' run

JTBC said Son Dong-woon of Highlight will take the stage in the 10th-anniversary production of the musical 'Gone Tomorrow'. The show opens September 15 at Hongik University Daehangno Art Center(홍익대 대학로 아트센터) Grand Theater in Jongno District, Seoul.
'Gone Tomorrow' is a period drama inspired by the final hours of Kim Ok-gyun after he went into exile in Japan following the Gapsin Coup, and by the assassination case surrounding him. The musical premiered in 2016, returned in 2021 and staged a third run in 2023.
The new staging has been prepared as a 10th-anniversary performance, with Son cast as Kim Ok-gyun. His role focuses on the convictions and conflicts of Kim, the revolutionary who led the Gapsin Coup.
Son has appeared in musicals since 2012, including 'Catch Me If You Can', 'The Great Catsby RE:BOOT', 'Sandglass' and 'Jeon Woochi'. Advertisement script residue that followed the staging notice is excluded from the news content.
