Former footballer Ahn Jung-hwan referred directly to JTBC’s management difficulties during the 19th broadcast of JTBC cooking variety show 'Please Take Care of My Refrigerator since 2014'.
The program introduced an anecdote about newly joined chef Yoo Yong-wook. As cast members discussed appearance-fee adjustments and reducing the number of people, MC Ahn said, 'It really is at that point now. Because JTBC is having a hard time.'

JTBC had declared a default last month after failing to repay 206 hundred million won in securitized borrowings and applied to the court for corporate rehabilitation proceedings. After receiving court approval recently, it completed payments of unpaid appearance fees and production costs.
The cast members’ remarks were noted as a direct expression of the sense of crisis inside the broadcaster.
