The former Clon member wrote on social media on the 7th that the condition was 'a bit serious' and said he would keep disinfecting it.

Newsis reported that Kang Won-rae, a former member of the dance duo Clon, shared an update on his health through social media on the 7th. Kang wrote, 'I should have managed it better, but it is a bit serious. I will get myself together and keep disinfecting it,' according to Newsis.
Newsis said Kang also added hashtags translated as 'no drinking,' 'disinfection' and 'endure' to the post. The outlet said the condition he referred to was a pressure sore.
According to Newsis, a pressure sore is damage to the skin and tissue that can occur when part of the body remains under continuous pressure while a person lies or sits in the same position for a long time. Newsis said caution is known to be needed for people who use wheelchairs or have limited mobility.
Newsis reported that Kang debuted in 1996 as Clon with Koo Jun-yup and gained popularity with songs including 'Kungtari Shabara' and 'First Love.' The outlet said Kang has used a wheelchair since he was diagnosed with paralysis of the lower body after a motorcycle accident in 2000, and that he later continued activities including broadcasting and lectures.
According to Newsis, Kang married Kim Song, a former member of the mixed group Cola, in 2003, and the couple had a son in 2014.
