Jung Suk-won says he did not know SK hynix

Actor Jung Suk-won said he did not know SK hynix in a video released on Baek Ji-young's YouTube channel on the 10th. The video showed Jung speaking with a production staffer who had graduated from Seoul National University.

When Jung heard the staffer was from Seoul National University, he asked, 'So were you No. 1 in the whole school?' The staffer said they had originally considered applying to hynix before coming to this company.

Jung replied, 'What is hynix? Where is it?' and the people present laughed. He then guessed, 'Is it a rival company?' and 'Is it a game company?'

Baek stepped in, saying, 'This man is cut off from the secular world.' Jung continued by asking whether it was 'where Heineken is,' and a staffer asked Baek, 'Are you okay?' Baek answered, 'I believe you will protect me.'

When the Seoul National University graduate tried to explain that SK hynix is a semiconductor company, Baek told them not to give the full answer. She gave Jung a hint, saying, 'Do not tell him everything; let him guess until the end. Like Samsung Electronics, what hynix is it?' Jung said, 'I do not know,' and recognized SK hynix only after Baek added that it is 'a very big company in our country,' prompting more laughter.
