According to JYP Entertainment, OURBIRTHDAY will release its first digital single, 'HUNGRY(Side A),' on music platforms on July 22 at 6 p.m. The group is JYP Entertainment's first new girl group in about 4 years.
JYP Entertainment described OURBIRTHDAY as a global group made up of multinational members. Member Cho Hye-jin previously appeared on Mnet's 'Street Dance Girls Fighter 2' and placed No. 1 on KBS 2TV's 'The Ddanddara.'
The lineup also includes Baby, described as having solid dance skills, and Achiraya, described as having an appealing vocal tone. Innit Entertainment, a JYP subsidiary, said the group name OURBIRTHDAY carries 'the energy of enjoying the moment as if every day were a birthday' and reflects the group's aim to redefine ordinary daily life in its own color.
