Asked by the production team about her diet meals, Soyou said, 'I did not restrict foods, and I controlled the portions.' She added that when she had high-calorie food, she only tasted a small amount and tried to reduce her stomach capacity.
Soyou also said, 'When you have gained weight, your stomach is already stretched, so if you cut back too extremely from the start, you may end up losing control later.' According to Newsis, she named European salad as the meal she ate most often.
She said she often made it at home and added, 'If you want to lose weight, you have to restrain yourself. A tip for reducing portions is to chew slowly.' Soyou also said, 'At the beginning of my diet, I did not use a spoon. It does not make sense to scoop food with a spoon while dieting.'
