KBS 2TV's new weekend drama Love Is Coming has cast actor Ha Seok-jin and singer-actress Ahn Hee-yeon, a former member of EXID. The series, scheduled to premiere on the 25th, is described as a family recipe drama about two people who gather the pieces of broken families and set a warm table for life.

Lee Kyung-hee, who wrote Uncontrollably Fond and I'm Sorry, I Love You, is part of the production team. Director Hong Seok-gu, whose credits include Queen's House, Beauty and Mr. Romantic and My Only One, has also joined the series.

Ha Seok-jin plays Kim Mu-jin, an Italian restaurant owner-chef with polished credentials. After continuing to pursue Han Gyu-rim despite her rejection, Kim becomes her lover, but he is left deeply hurt when she disappears without a trace. He leaves for Italy to learn cooking and reunites with Han Gyu-rim after 8 years, becoming caught in a turn of fate.

Ahn Hee-yeon, known as Hani of EXID, is taking on her first weekend drama with Love Is Coming. She plays Han Gyu-rim, an employee at a side-dish shop who supports her family and lives through demanding days.

Han Gyu-rim takes on various part-time jobs and household duties after her once-affluent family collapses in an instant. After sharing happy and warm moments with Kim Mu-jin, she decides to break up because she cannot withstand the weight of harsh reality, then faces a new phase when Kim reappears after 8 years.

The production team said, 'The story of putting the fragments of broken families back together with warmth and care delivers a particular resonance in modern society, where individualism and family breakdown are accelerating. Beyond a simple romance, we will show our lives with conflict and reconciliation across generations.' The team added that it plans to portray the reunion romance between Ha Seok-jin and Ahn Hee-yeon, along with family narratives involving supporting characters with their own stories.

Ha Seok-jin, Ahn Hee-yeon and members of the production team are scheduled to attend a drama production presentation in Guro District, Seoul, on the 22nd. Love Is Coming, the follow-up to Love Prescription, will premiere on KBS 2TV at 7:55 p.m. on the 25th.
