Hearts2Hearts to release Japan debut single in August
KBS said SM Entertainment announced that Hearts2Hearts will release its first Japan single on August 12 and preview all 3 tracks on August 10.
SM Entertainment said on July 7 that its rookie girl group Hearts2Hearts will release a debut record in Japan next month and begin local activities, according to KBS.
KBS reported that Hearts2Hearts will make its official Japan debut on August 12 with its first Japan single, Iconic Heart, as a local record. Before the release, the audio for all 3 songs on the album is scheduled to be made available on global music platforms on August 10.
According to SM Entertainment, Hearts2Hearts reached No. 1 on the Oricon Daily Album Chart with Focus, No. 1 on Billboard Japan Heatseekers Songs with Style, and No. 2 on the Oricon Daily Album Chart with Lemontang. The agency said the group has received a good response in Japan and that the new album is also anticipated, KBS reported.
KBS said Hearts2Hearts is scheduled to appear on TV Asahi music program Music Station on July 10 and perform its new song Lemontang in Japan for the first time.
The group released its second mini-album Lemontang on June 22 and has continued comeback promotions, including a No. 1 result on a music program, according to KBS. SM Entertainment also said Hearts2Hearts is scheduled to appear on August 14 at a large summer music live event hosted by Fuji TV morning program Mezamashi TV.
