BTS meets iShowSpeed backstage at World Cup final
BTS performed at the 2026 FIFA World Cup final halftime show, where iShowSpeed and other figures met the group backstage.
BTS appeared at the halftime show for the 2026 FIFA World Cup final, held on the 19th local time at New York New Jersey Stadium in the United States.
During a livestream, American streamer iShowSpeed spotted BTS backstage and ran toward the members while shouting, 'Oh my God, BTS!' and 'Wait, wait!'
iShowSpeed hugged each member and repeatedly said, 'I'm a huge fan.' He also performed a backflip, which drew laughter at the scene, and kept saying, 'Oh my God!' after taking commemorative photos with BTS.
iShowSpeed has also been known as a BTS fan outside the World Cup event. He previously released a video of himself dancing to BTS's song 'Dynamite'.
David Beckham asked to take photos with BTS, while Justin Bieber approached the members, exchanged greetings and hugged them. Ronaldinho appeared wearing a BTS T-shirt.
BTS headlined the first halftime show in World Cup final history and performed 'Dynamite' with rewritten football-themed lyrics. The group also joined Coldplay, Shakira and Justin Bieber for the finale stage.
